#05 – Open call for research organisations to pilot the KALEIDOS Toolkit
Research organisations across Europe are invited to test the Toolkit for strengthening Open Science and Knowledge Valorisation.
The KALEIDOS Toolkit has been developed as a flexible and adaptable resource that supports institutions in improving their Knowledge Valorisation strategies. Rather than offering a single predefined pathway, the Toolkit is organised into several interconnected modules that can either be completed as a step-by-step process or explored independently according to each organisation’s priorities and level of maturity.
Participating organisations can pilot the Toolkit in its entirety or focus on selected modules, depending on their institutional needs and available resources. Throughout the pilot process, the KALEIDOS consortium will provide continuous support through dedicated meetings, feedback sessions and implementation guidance, ensuring that participating institutions can effectively integrate the Toolkit into their own organisational context.
The Toolkit offers practical support to organisations seeking to:
- Assess their institutional position in Knowledge Valorisation.
- Strengthen Open Science and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Enhance collaboration with Quadruple Helix stakeholders.
- Improve access to funding opportunities.
- Develop institutional change strategies.
- Align policies with Knowledge Valorisation principles.
- Build competences through dedicated training opportunities.
- Contribute to shaping the future of research and innovation.
Beyond testing the resource itself, the pilot represents an opportunity for organisations to actively contribute to the refinement of the Toolkit. Feedback gathered during this phase will help ensure that the final version responds to the diverse realities of research-performing organisations across Europe and supports the wider adoption of Knowledge Valorisation practices.
