VALORIZATION

Knowledge valorisation refers to the process of creating social and economic value from knowledge. It involves linking different areas and sectors and transforming data, know-how, and research results into sustainable products, services, solutions, and knowledge-based policies that benefit society. In essence, it’s about turning intellectual assets into practical and impactful outcomes.

NETWORK

For our purposes we will use the term network to describe as a set of human contacts known to an individual, with whom that individual would expect to interact at intervals to support a given set of activities. Within Kaleidos we need to engage a network to fulfil the objectives of the project and to leave a increased capacity and knowledge behind as a result of the training and participation within the consortium.
OPEN INNOVATION

Open Innovation is a strategic approach to innovation that recognizes that valuable knowledge and ideas are widely dispersed across different organizations, individuals, and communities. Unlike i, closed innovation models which rely solely on internal resources and proprietary processes.

Open innovation encourages organizations to actively seek external knowledge, technologies, and ideas, while also sharing their own resources with external partners.

SOCIAL INNOVATION
Social innovations are new ideas that meet social needs, create social relationships and form new collaborations. These innovations can be products, services or models addressing unmet needs more effectively. The European Commission’s objective is to encourage market uptake of innovative solutions and stimulate employment.
